If your child isn’t a sensory seeker, they may be a sensory avoider, like Jace. With the exception of a few things Jace is almost completely a sensory avoider and avoids sensory input at all costs. Sensory avoiders may seem clumsy or lazy but that’s not true, they just appear that way because they are avoiding sensory input. I find it so interesting that I have one child who is an extreme sensory seeker and one who is very much a sensory avoider! Complete opposites but also quite a bit alike. #s
