Play is a child's language: how they cultivate social skills, critical thinking, emotion regulation, fine and gross motor abilities, grit and SO MUCH MORE! Schools are only one of several reasons we have a play crisis on our hands but a good place to start: ✅ Longer and more frequent recesses ✅ Play-based learning ✅ Less homework (the research does not support homwork in elementary/primary school unless it's reading to your child or your child reading) ✅ Lessons moved outdoors wherever possible
