this episode was so strange but ended up being one of my favorites. while everyone in this episode acted completely out of character; hilda didn’t. while hilda may have acted differently than helga to arnold, helga acts in this exact manner when she is alone. it’s sad bc in this case, arnold ironically falls in love with hilda bc of how she acts and bc she openly feels such deep emotions while helga tries to hide that part of herself from everyone; especially arnold. even the fact she goes after
