#WeatherAlert: Iridescent clouds were spotted at Lentor Crescent on 19 Oct afternoon. These beautiful clouds often appear in the late afternoon, on very hot and humid days. When a humid layer of air above an altocumulus cloud is pushed upwards and the cloud rises or grows in size, the water vapour condenses into droplets. A cap cloud is then formed, which in turn diffracts sunlight. This results in a beautiful iridescent cloud comprising a characteristic irregular and patchy rainbow ‎️‍🌈☁️ #Wea
