Let’s dive into rotational power—key for shooting a hockey puck, swinging a golf club, or shooting a lacrosse ball. One of our favorite training methods is medicine ball throws. Here’s how we progress: 1. Half Kneeling Throw: Start static, load back, and throw through. 2. Standing Throw: Add hip movement, load back, and drive through. 3. Stepping Side Toss: Step into the throw for more dynamic movement. 4. Shuffle Side Toss: Fully dynamic with a shuffle step. Remember, the main cue: throw it as
