(Hence the name Noctiluca), and it’s adapted to life in the open ocean (that’s where “Pelagia” comes from) 🙌🏽 📊 With a bell diameter of 3-12 cm, but tentacles reaching up to 10 metres long 🤯, you better be cautious if there’s one around, as they can actually deliver a strong sting.
